Pavel Kolesnikov

Pavel Kolesnikov is a Russian classical pianist born in Novosibirsk. He studied at the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory and the Royal College of Music in London, where he won the Royal Over-Seas League Gold Medal. Kolesnikov has performed with leading orchestras including the London Symphony Orchestra, Philharmonia Orchestra, and BBC Symphony Orchestra. His repertoire spans from Bach and Beethoven to contemporary works, and he is noted for thoughtful programming and refined technique. He has released recordings on Hyperion Records featuring works by Chopin, Tchaikovsky, and Couperin. Kolesnikov regularly appears at major venues such as Wigmore Hall, Carnegie Hall, and the Concertgebouw.
