MC Willian

MC Willian is a Brazilian funk carioca artist from Rio de Janeiro, formerly one half of the historic 1990s duo William e Duda. He helped shape the early sound of Rio’s baile funk scene with raw, street-level beats and candid lyrics. After the duo split, he continued as a solo artist, releasing tracks that blend classic funk carioca with modern trap funk elements. His catalog includes the 2023 single “Set do Willian,” which gained traction on streaming platforms. Willian’s style remains rooted in the favelas, emphasizing percussive 808s, rapid-fire flows, and party energy.
