Larry Sanders, known professionally as L.V., is an American R&B singer from Los Angeles. He rose to prominence in 1995 with his featured vocals on Coolio’s “Gangsta’s Paradise,” which topped the Billboard Hot 100 and won a Grammy. His smooth tenor and gospel-inflected phrasing became a signature on mid-90s West Coast hip-hop and R&B crossovers. L.V. released the solo album “I Am L.V.” in 1996 on Tommy Boy and later appeared on tracks by Warren G, Snoop Dogg, and the Game. He continues to perform and record independently, maintaining a catalog that blends contemporary R&B with classic soul influences.
