Don Williams

Don Williams was an American country singer-songwriter born in Floydada, Texas, in 1939. He rose to fame in the 1970s with a smooth baritone voice and laid-back style often called the “Gentle Giant of Country.” Williams scored multiple number-one hits including “I Believe in Love” and “Tulsa Time,” and released over 40 studio albums. He was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2010 and continued touring until his death in 2017.
