Weezer

Weezer is an American rock band formed in Los Angeles in 1992. Fronted by Rivers Cuomo, the group rose to fame in the mid-1990s with their self-titled debut album (the Blue Album) and its hit singles "Buddy Holly" and "Undone – The Sweater Song." Their sound blends power pop, alternative rock, and geek-rock sensibilities, often featuring melodic hooks and introspective lyrics. Follow-up albums Pinkerton and the Green Album further cemented their status, while later releases like the White Album and OK Human showcased continued experimentation. The band has maintained a consistent lineup core of Cuomo, Patrick Wilson, Brian Bell, and Scott Shriner, and remains active with extensive touring and new recordings.
