ONE OK ROCK

ONE OK ROCK is a Japanese rock band formed in Tokyo in 2005. Originally a pop-punk outfit, the group evolved into a mainstream rock act blending post-hardcore, alternative, and emo influences. Frontman Takahiro Moriuchi (ex-ORMAT) and guitarist Toru Yamashita anchor the lineup. The band broke through with 2011’s “Answer is Near” and achieved major success with 2017’s “Ambitions,” which topped the Japanese charts and earned international attention. They have toured extensively with acts like Bring Me the Horizon and performed at major festivals. Their sound is characterized by anthemic choruses, bilingual lyrics, and high-energy live shows.
