Uru

Uru is a Japanese singer-songwriter from Fukuoka, known for her emotive vocal delivery and piano-driven ballads. She debuted in 2016 with the single “Koi,” which gained attention through television drama tie-ins. Her breakthrough came with “Kamisama no Maneku Sono Hi e,” the theme for the anime film Your Name, and subsequent singles such as “Tōjisha” and “Anata ga Iru” further established her in the J-pop and ballad scenes. Uru’s music blends contemporary pop with elements of soul and R&B, often featuring introspective lyrics and orchestral arrangements. She has released several albums on Sony Music Associated Records and continues to contribute to anime, drama, and film soundtracks.
