Ernest Keith Smith, known professionally as ERNEST, is an American country music singer-songwriter from Tennessee. He began his career writing songs for other artists before signing with Big Loud Records and releasing his debut album Flower Shops in 2022. His sound blends traditional country with modern production, often incorporating elements of pop and rock. ERNEST gained mainstream attention through collaborations with Morgan Wallen, including the hit single “Flower Shops.” He has also worked with artists such as Jelly Roll and has written songs for Luke Combs and Florida Georgia Line. His 2024 album Nashville, Tennessee further established his presence in the country scene.
