The Script

The Script are an Irish rock band formed in Dublin in 2001 by singer-songwriter Danny O’Donoghue and drummer Glen Power. They rose to prominence with their self-titled debut album in 2008, which featured the international hit “We Cry” and the chart-topping single “The Man Who Can’t Be Moved.” Their sound blends piano-driven pop-rock with soulful vocals and anthemic choruses, drawing influences from U2, The Fray, and classic soul. Follow-up albums “Science & Faith” (2010) and “#3” (2012) produced further global successes including “For the First Time,” “Breakeven,” and “Hall of Fame” featuring will.i.am. The band has sold millions of records worldwide, toured arenas across Europe and North America, and collaborated with artists such as will.i.am and Emeli Sandé. Their sixth studio album “Sunsets & Full Moons” was released in 2019.
