Creed

Creed is an American post-grunge band formed in Tallahassee, Florida in 1993 by vocalist Scott Stapp and guitarist Mark Tremonti. The group rose to fame in the late 1990s with their debut album My Own Prison and achieved mainstream success with the multi-platinum Human Clay, which featured the hit single 'With Arms Wide Open.' Their sound blends heavy guitar riffs, melodic hooks, and introspective lyrics rooted in alternative metal and hard rock. Creed released three studio albums before disbanding in 2004; they reunited in 2009 for Full Circle and again in 2023 for a new tour. The band has sold over 28 million records worldwide and earned a Grammy Award.
