Arcángel

Austin Agustín Santos, known professionally as Arcángel, is a Puerto Rican singer, rapper, and songwriter born in New York City and raised in Carolina, Puerto Rico. He emerged in the mid-2000s as part of the underground reggaeton scene alongside De La Ghetto, releasing early mixtapes that helped shape the Latin trap movement. His 2008 debut album El Fenómeno established him as a major voice in reggaeton and Latin urban music, followed by hits such as “Pa’ Que La Pases Bien” and later collaborations with Bad Bunny, Ozuna, and Anuel AA. Arcángel blends reggaeton, Latin trap, and hip-hop with melodic singing and rapid-fire flows, maintaining a long-running career across independent and major releases.
