Carmine Lauri

Carmine Lauri is a Maltese violinist and concertmaster of the London Symphony Orchestra. Born in Malta, he studied at the Royal Academy of Music in London and joined the LSO in 1987, becoming co-leader in 2006. He has performed as a soloist with major orchestras and appeared on numerous film soundtracks recorded by the LSO. Lauri also serves as artistic director of the Malta Philharmonic Orchestra and has collaborated with conductors including Sir Simon Rattle and Sir Colin Davis.
