French Montana is an American rapper and singer born Karim Kharbouch in Rabat, Morocco and raised in the Bronx, New York. He rose through the New York mixtape scene in the late 2000s with Coke Boys releases and gained mainstream attention after signing with Bad Boy Records. His 2013 debut album Excuse My French reached number four on the Billboard 200 and featured the platinum single "Ain't Worried About Nothin."
