James Gang

James Gang is an American rock band formed in Cleveland, Ohio in 1966. The group gained prominence in the late 1960s and early 1970s with a blues-infused hard rock sound. Guitarist Joe Walsh joined in 1968 and became the band's primary songwriter and frontman, contributing to their breakthrough albums Yer' Album and James Gang Rides Again. Walsh departed in 1971 to pursue a solo career and later joined the Eagles. The band continued with new members including Domenic Troiano and Tommy Bolin before disbanding in the mid-1970s. Their signature track "Funk #49" remains a classic rock staple.
