Halsey

Ashley Nicolette Frangipane, known professionally as Halsey, is an American singer, songwriter, and activist from New Jersey. She rose to prominence in 2014 with her self-released EP Room 93 and the single "Ghost." Her debut album Badlands (2015) and follow-up Hopeless Fountain Kingdom (2017) established her as a major pop artist blending electropop, alternative, and indie influences. Halsey has collaborated with artists including BTS, The Chainsmokers, and Machine Gun Kelly, and released the chart-topping album Manic (2020) and If I Can't Have Love, I Want Power (2021) produced with Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross. She is known for her confessional songwriting, genre experimentation, and advocacy for mental health and LGBTQ+ rights.
