Banx & Ranx

Banx & Ranx are a Canadian electronic music duo from Montreal formed by producers Yanick Gagné and Louis-Philippe Lozeau. They began releasing music in the mid-2010s and gained recognition for blending dancehall, reggae, and electronic production with pop and hip-hop elements. Their breakthrough came with the 2017 single “Answerphone” featuring Ella Eyre and Yxng Bane, which charted across Europe. The pair have worked with artists including Sia, Craig David, and French rapper Soprano, and released the album “Answerphone” in 2018. Their sound fuses Caribbean rhythms with contemporary club production and they continue to produce for both international and francophone acts.
