The Macarons Project

The Macarons Project is a Thai indie-pop duo formed in Bangkok by singer-songwriter and guitarist Natcha and producer-keyboardist Nook. They began releasing music in 2016, blending acoustic guitar, soft synths, and bilingual English-Thai vocals into breezy bedroom-pop and indie-folk arrangements. Their breakout single “Photograph” (2017) went viral on YouTube, leading to millions of streams and a growing international fanbase. Subsequent releases such as the EP “Somewhere Only We Know” and singles like “I’ll Be Fine” and “Moon & Back” showcase their melodic, introspective songwriting. The project remains independent, self-releasing through digital platforms while maintaining a consistent visual aesthetic centered on pastel, lo-fi imagery.
