Baby Rasta

Wilmer Manuel Alicea Curras, known professionally as Baby Rasta, is a Puerto Rican reggaeton artist from San Juan. He emerged in the late 1990s as part of the duo Baby Rasta & Gringo, helping shape the early reggaeton scene alongside artists like Daddy Yankee and Tego Calderón. The pair released several mixtapes and albums on independent labels before going solo; Baby Rasta continued with singles such as “Me Porto Bonito” and “Te Lo Meto.” His sound blends classic reggaeton dembow rhythms with modern trap and Latin urban production. He maintains an active presence on social platforms and streaming services, releasing music through independent channels and maintaining a catalog on platforms including Apple Music and Spotify.
