Daft Punk

Daft Punk was a French electronic music duo formed in Paris in 1993 by Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo and Thomas Bangalter. They rose to fame with their 1997 debut Homework and its hit single "Around the World," later achieving global success with Discovery (2001) and the Grammy-winning Random Access Memories (2013). Their sound blended house, funk, disco, and synth-pop, often performed in signature robot helmets and leather outfits. They collaborated with artists including Pharrell Williams, Nile Rodgers, and The Weeknd, and scored the Tron: Legacy soundtrack. The duo retired in 2021 after a 28-year career that redefined dance music and electronic production.
